I did it! I went down to the local adult school, paid my $175 and signed up for the GED. I bought a book and studied. I asked for help with math, from some wonderful people in my life. I took my test and found out I passed. I am proud of myself, but know there is a huge road ahead.
Last night, I applied for the FAFSA and registered for community college. I can't begin to express how ready I am to build my life. Moving into this new chapter, I look forward to learning and growing in my independence.
Questions I ask myself daily-
What do I want to do?
How much schooling am I willing to do?
Can I afford to transfer, when the time comes?
What can I make a living doing?
Am I smart enough?
Can I do this?
